The end is near! You see folks, a writing community I’m involved in is offering prizes to those who finish the first draft of a novel before the deadline date. The good news is that date is probably sooner than you think. That bad news is, it’ll be a stretch for me to meet.
But I studied my boards and made a final plot revision that gives me one possible path to complete my first draft in time. It’s tight and leaves no room for leeway, but I think I can make it happen.
Are you ready to find out when that is?!
I plan to complete my novel by January 19th, 2025 — and yes, of this new year! In other words, my first draft deadline is a mere 15 days away, and frankly I’m terrified. But it is obtainable and I have a plan, and a frenzied desire to see this come together.
So wish me luck. I’m almost there.
